March Round-up

Wow March has been and gone and Spring is here.
I decided instead of doing a separate post of monthly favorites and a round-up post I would combine the two. So here goes.........

* My March round-up *

* Kettlercise
I was so glad it was back!!! But as a result of having a month off I ached like hell for days after, they say no pain no gain...but Ouch! For those who don't know what it is here's a link Kettlercise website it's my all time favorite exercise class.

* Chicken pox
For the second time, this time they did a proper job on my little man, he was covered and he was defiantly poorly as he actually slept!! I managed to work from home quite a bit of the time and my partner luckily was able to have time off too so we could share the time off work. Three weeks on and he still has a few dried up spots waiting to fall off.

* My little diva turns 6!
I'm secretly very sad about this, I have a 6 year old child,
how the frigging hell did that happen? My baby grew up.
Heres my post dedicated to my little diva The joys of a little diva

*Yes that is a One Direction cake and badge (with all 5 members on)*

* Mothers Day
I had lovely hand made gifts from my children, an amazing Indian takeaway and then lunch out with the mother-in-law, less said about that the better. Also my daughter drew a picture for the local paper, this made me an emotional mess.

* Finding a house
Finally, we have found a suitable house and plan to move in a weeks time.
For anyone who hasn't read my moving posts here they are Part 1 and Part 2  look out for more posts next month.

* March Fav's *

* Lucozade, Caribbean crush
This stuff has been my life savour through my sleep deprived days its also so refreshing and summery. It reminds me of Lit, which you don't see around much anymore.

*  E-bay
I had a bit of spare money, thanks to my birthday so I went on a bit of a splurge on e-bay, it was quite successful, but it's not always with e-bay. You can get some good bargains but you can also get carried away with the bidding war!  Here is my post on what I splurged on E-bay Splurge

* Joma Jewelry
I got a ring from my babies for mothers day, I love it. I also have the ear-rings to match which I got for my birthday. Joma jewelry is my favorites because it's so affordable and so pretty.

* March Fails *

* Comic relief and funny faces day
My daughter was sick in school and sent home the day before, so she wasn't allowed back in school for 48hrs even though she was perfectly fine as soon as I got her home grrr!
So face paints and wig wasted.

* Packing
Turns out it's a lot harder then I thought to get motivated,
with 7 days to go I've packed 1 box, 3 times!

* My Granddad sadly passed away, Which really sucks.
It was expected as he was very ill but he got very ill very quickly so it was still a shock, he was an amazing character who made everyone laugh.
 Here is my post The whole dying lark

  1. This is lovely, I keep thinking about doing a monthly roundup but I never get around to it! A great way to keep track of what's been going on in your life.
    Good luck with the packing! Last time I moved it was carnage and I was so overwhelmed a friend had to come round and pack my kitchen up for me!
    Thanks for linking up with the #weekendbloghop!

  2. So sorry to hear about your Grandfather, it is always such a shock when a loved one passes away, even if you are expecting it. My Grandfather died also suddenly, and it was quite hard to go through.

    Glad to see that your little man is getting better, and that you have some exciting news about moving. We are in the process of moving at some point as well as we are buying our first home now. I hate packing though, and now have to do loads of decluttering... A lot, as we have lived in here for ages so have accumulated lots of stuff... Looking forward to hearing how it'll go :)

    Thanks for linking to #mymonthlyroundup :)

  3. What a great round up! Kettlercise (what a name!) and birthdays sound awesome, chickenpox and missing red nose day does not. Gosh march feels like ages ago now! Thanks for linking up to #Thelist I hope you're enjoying April just as much!
